ACHIEVEability Connects: Resources, Civic Engagement & Economic Development for Fostering a Vibrant Community

We are working to foster a thriving community that allows each resident, business, and community stakeholder to reach their fullest potential. We partner with residents to build on their strengths and contribute to the equitable growth of West Philadelphia. By providing technical assistance to businesses and basic needs services to residents, we help drive positive change in our neighborhood.

How It Works

ACHIEVEability Connects partners with residents to address their needs, barriers to success and connect to the needed resources to achieve long-term stability. We also focus on improving neighborhood conditions by supporting local businesses and engaging in safety and public space initiatives.

Our Impact

The ACHIEVEability Connects program goals are to:

  • Lead equitable and inclusive economic development activities in the Haddington and Cobbs Creek neighborhoods to create economically vibrant and thriving communities

  • Deepen the continuum of anti-poverty services and civic engagement opportunities for residents to meet their immediate and long-term needs and to strengthen the community

  • Promote a safe and beautiful neighborhood by eliminating and preventing blight, and supporting 60th Street Commercial Corridor businesses to make it a destination to live, learn, work, play and shop
