ACHIEVEability Introduces the New Community Office

The new ACHIEVEability Community Office introduced itself to the local community by holding an open house. The event, held on August 26th, informed local residents, business owners, and stakeholders about numerous services provided through this office. The event included a martial arts demonstration, face painting for the children, backpack give-a-ways and presentations by ACHIEVEability staff focusing on various services such as self-sufficiency and first-time homebuyers programs.  Representatives from TD Bank, Senator Hughes' office and Temple University’s Disaster Readiness Program gave out resources and information. In addition, many residents who were in attendance were able to walk away with city issued recycling bins and recycling rewards stickers.
