Truist CRA Community Development Manager, Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Bio

Schnearia Ashley is the Community Development Manager for Truist Financial Corporation. She oversees community development in the DelawareValley, Lehigh Valley, and Central Pennsylvania regions. She is responsible for developing strategies and designing programs in support of Truist's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) goals.

Since being named to this position in Fall 2019, Ms. Ashley has deepened community relationships and has met identified community needs . She started her career as a bank teller in 2006, and was promoted eight times to various positions within the bank – Credit, Business Deposit and Retail Solutions. Her past success and experience have assisted her in her current role. Ms. Ashley is passionate about coordinating qualified community development services for local organizations. She serves on the Truist Foundation Local Advisory Committee for PA and NJ. She also serves as a community leader with the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania Board of Directors and Urban Affairs Coalition Community & Economic Development Committee.

Ms. Ashley earned a B.S. in Finance, and an A.A. in Accounting. Schnearia is known for her passion for people and her community. Her greatest achievement is being a mom to her 20 year old twin daughters.

What is your favorite thing about Philadelphia?

My favorite thing about Philadelphia is Dalessandro’s Steaks – and the history, of course!

Why I support ACHIEVEability as a Board Member?

My biggest achievement is being a mom to my twin daughters. Support from organizations like ACHIEVEability, were very helpful for my family. I’m proud to support their great work and be a member of the team.
