ACHIEVEability is proud to announce that this year's Food for Thought was a great success, raising nearly $300,000 with more than 600 guests in attendance! Thanks to the support of our sponsors, attendees, committee members, donors, featured chefs, guest speakers, board members, staff and volunteers we were able to raise essential funds to support our families in breaking the cycle of poverty and overcoming impossible hurdles.

This "party with a purpose" took place on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Urban Outfitters, Inc. at the Navy Yard and featured food prepared by more than 30 top chefs and restaurants from the Greater Philadelphia area. This amazing collection of culinary masters included Dana Herbert of Desserts by Dana, Mitch Prensky of Supper, Ben Puchowitz of Matyson, Chip Roman of Blackfish, Kevin Sbraga of Sbraga, Daniel Stern of R2L, Marcie Turney of Barbuzzo and Jamonera, Peter Woolsey of Bistrot La Minette, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, and many more. The event also featured unique live and silent auction items, games and entertainment, and live music provided by CTO Tribeca.
