ACHIEVEability is proud to announce that this year's Food for Thought was a huge success! Thanks to the support of our sponsors, committee members, donors, featured chefs, guest speakers, board members, staff and volunteers we were able to meet our goal of supporting an additional TWENTY families!

On Saturday, March 24, 2012 ACHIEVEability celebrated the culmination of its 30th anniversary year at the event, Food for Thought. This exciting event took place at Urban Outfitters, Inc. at the Navy Yard and featured food prepared by more than twenty top chefs from the Greater Philadelphia area, including Marc Vetri, Peter Woolsey and Kevin Sbraga. In addition to the unrivalled variety of culinary masters who prepared exquisite food, the event featured unique live and silent auction items, games and entertainment, and live music provided by CTO Artists.

ACHIEVEability is excited to announce the date for next year's Food for Thought: Saturday, March 23, 2013.

Food for Thought is ACHIEVEability’s most important fundraiser of the year – raising funds to support its work to break the generational poverty by helping single parent, low-income families, achieve self-sufficiency. ACHIEVEability operates with the belief that everyone has the ability to achieve financial stability through education and personal accountability.
